Missions

• Support development
• Perform technical simulations to find solutions during the development process in the fields of crash, safety and structural analysis
• Define the necessary simulations and related costs needed in a development program based on the existing specifications
• Check and approve simulations according to the design verification plan with program team and the customer
• Control and coordinate the performed simulations in a program
• Be responsible for the negotiated simulation budget
• Present the results to the development and the customer
• Validate simulation results according to the test results
• Check and approve results from suppliers
• Support pre-development
• Support sales and marketing
• Support the quotation process of technical simulations and their evaluations
• Create and approve a high technical level, which positively represents Faurecia's image towards the customer

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering
• Experience with the solvers LS-DYNA / PAM-Crash / ABAQUS
• Experience with the pre/post processors Hypermesh/Hyperview and ANSA/Metapost
• Practical experience in the following work fields Crash, static and/or dynamics
• Practical experience in the car Interior field is a plus (Airbag deployment, Head Impact ECE21/FMVSS201)
• team player with strong communication skills
• Good skills in the German and English language, French is a plus
• International mind set
